At Baileys, we think business can be a force for positive change which is why we’re working on our most significant recipe to date: Ingredients for Good, a recipe in the making. Our aim is to make a positive difference to our communities and our planet. After all, treating is an act of caring not just for ourselves, but for the world around us. Whether that’s turning up on our neighbour’s doorstep with banoffee pie post-heartbreak or buying Irish Cream Liqueur from a B Corp Certified business.
Since Baileys launched in 1974 we've paid a premium for top quality milk from our farmer-owned co-operative dairy supplier. Through them, we ensure the high standards of animal welfare and traceability in the milk that transforms into Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur. In recent years we've reduced the amount of water used in our factories and switched to 100% renewable electricity to power them. We pay our employees a living wage and ensure they have access to leading benefits, like six months paid family leave for parents.
But we know we need to go further, like reducing the greenhouse gas emissions from our suppliers that produce our delicious Baileys. Our recipe for good is still in the making. That’s why we’re working to improve our impact all the time and have set ambitious goals for 2030.
