Who said Baileys hot choccy was only for those cold Winter months? Not us. ESPECIALLY when you have this indulgent frozen hot chocolate as an option. Think of it as an elevated chocolate milkshake with a twist – we’ve named it the Baileys Shakeado! To make this frozen hot chocolate recipe – or iced chocolate – at home, you’ll only need a few ingredients, but, oh my, does this frozen treat deliver so much chocolatiness and indulgence you’ll feel extra spoiled!

  • 1 – 2 scoops crushed ice
  • 50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 200ml whole milk
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Hot chocolate powder
  • Chocolate shavings

Directions

  • STEP ONE
    Mix up your hot chocolate using the hoc chocolate powder and the whole milk and chill. Find your favourite glass – we love the look of this iced drink in a bevelled glass – and drizzle chocolate sauce inside and around the rim.
  • STEP TWO
    Grab a cocktail shaker and add the crushed ice, Baileys Original Irish Cream and chilled hot chocolate.
  • STEP THREE
    Now it’s time to shake, shake, shake! It’s not absolutely necessary to dance while you’re doing this, but it adds even more pizazz!
  • STEP FOUR
    Finally, pour into the glass and add the chocolate shavings. You can also top with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder!
